This Privacy Policy explains how Yoosr Ltd. ("Yoosr", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data in connection with the Yoosr Zakat Calculator and this website (www.yoosr.com). The Zakat Calculator is a feature of the Yoosr mobile app that helps you work out the zakat due on your wealth. This page also covers the early-access sign-up form on our website.

Yoosr Ltd. is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

• Early-access sign-up details. When you register your interest through the form on this website, we collect your email address and country of residence (both required) and your name (optional).
• Zakat calculation inputs. When you use the Zakat Calculator inside the Yoosr app, you enter financial figures such as cash, savings, the value of gold and silver, investments, money owed to you and debts you owe. These figures are used to calculate your zakat and, where you choose to save them, are stored against your Yoosr account so you can review your calculations.
• Technical and usage data. When you visit our website or use the app, our servers automatically log technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, and the date and time of access. This data helps us operate the service securely and diagnose problems.
